UCCS Faculty Course Questionnaire (FCQ) Data Requester

From this page you can request FCQ results for individuals, courses, or departments for the past several years. Data are currently available from Summer 2003 to Spring 2008.

You may obtain the results in your browser window or an Excel file. Results displayed in a browser will show average ratings for the nine standard FCQ items from Fall 2006 onward in addition to identifying information for the course and instructor. A selection of the 12 items on the old FCQ form will appear for terms before Fall 2006. The Excel file option provides additional information and results (e.g., some item standard deviations), which are described on a "fields" tab (worksheet) within the file (workbook).

Note that results for both the pre-Fall 2006 and Fall 2006 and later FCQs will be shown. In the browser display, Fall 2006 and later FCQ results will appear at the top, followed by pre-Fall 2006 results (if any) in a separate section. In the Excel file, Fall 2006 and later FCQ results will appear in columns on the left-hand side of the worksheet, whereas pre-Fall 2006 FCQ results will appear in columns on the right-hand side.

Aggregate stats & averages - Excel file with descriptive statistics over the last 3 years by college, course level, and instructor group.

Instructions:
You may search by instructor name, by course number, or by college or department name, or any two of the above. If you choose a department by mistake, you must go to the bottom of this page and reset the form to the defaults.

Results by Instructor: Enter Lastname, Firstname

Enter as much of the name as you think will uniquely identify the instructor. (e.g. pfeifer, gary or pfeifer). Note that a short name such as John will also retrieve data for names like Johns, Johnson, Johnston, etc. End your name with a comma to avoid this (e.g., John,).

Submitting after entering only an instructor name will pull all data available for that instructor, based on the defaults set below, into a table in your browser. Use the selection menus below to limit the amount of data you receive, or change the format and delivery mode of the output.

Results for a particular course: Enter the 4 letter subject abbreviation, and the 4 digit course number

Results for a College or Department: CAUTION: choosing a whole college or even a large department for many terms can lead to thousands of lines of data.
